I. Settings (Manufacturing -> Settings)

  1. Working hours (Manufacturing / Settings / Working hours)

    It is attributes of staff contract
    Create new Working hour: Manufacturing -> Settings ->Working hours -> Add

    1.1 Manage Working hours screen

    In this screen display all Working hour, allow "create", "edit", "delete".

    1.2 Create New Working hour screen
    In manage screen click button "ADD WORKING HOURS".

    In this screen create Working hour.

    Working hour with attribute.
    - "Name", "hour per day", "working hour details".

    1.3 Edit Working hour screen
    In manage screen click button "Edit".
    1.4 Delete Working hour
    In manage screen click button "Delete".
  2. Unit of measure categories (Manufacturing / Settings / Unit of measure categories)

    It is attributes of staff contract
    Create new Unit of measure categories: Manufacturing -> Settings ->Unit of measure categories -> Add

    2.1 Manage Unit of measure categories screen

    In this screen display all Unit of measure categories, allow "create", "edit", "delete".

    2.2 Create New Unit of measure categories screen
    In manage screen click button "ADD".

    In this screen create Unit of measure categories.

    Unit of measure categories with attribute.
    - "Category Name",

    2.3 Edit Unit of measure categories screen
    In manage screen click button "Edit".
    2.4 Delete Unit of measure categories
    In manage screen click button "Delete".
  3. Unit of measure (Manufacturing / Settings / Unit of measure)

    It is attributes of staff contract
    Create new Unit of measure: Manufacturing -> Settings ->Unit of measure -> Add

    3.1 Manage Unit of measure screen

    In this screen display all Unit of measure, allow "create", "edit", "delete".

    3.2 Create New Unit of measure screen
    Unit of measure with type "Reference"

    If a unit has a reference type, it will be a reference unit for another unit in the same category of units.

    In manage screen click button "ADD".

    Unit of measure with type "Bigger than the reference Unit of Measure" If a unit has a reference type, this unit will be calculated with formula: "1*this unit = ratio*reference unit".
    Eg: Reference unit is Kilogram.
    Bigger reference unit is Ton
    => 1*Ton = ratio*reference Unit => 1Ton = 1000 Kilogram.

    Unit of measure with type "Smaller than the reference Unit of Measure" If a unit has a reference type, this unit will be calculated with formula: "1*reference unit = ratio*this unit".
    Eg: Reference unit is Kilogram.
    Smaller reference unit is Gram
    => 1*Kilogram = ratio*this Unit => 1Kilogram = 1000 Gram.

    In this screen create Unit of measure.

    Unit of measure with attribute.
    - "Unit of measure name", "Category", "type", "Rounding precision", "Ratio"

    3.3 Edit Unit of measure screen
    In manage screen click button "Edit".
    3.4 Delete Unit of measure
    In manage screen click button "Delete".
  4. II. Products.

    1. Management screen

      - This feature allows management of product, add edit, delete
      - On this screen don't showing product variants ( variants product is product has parent).

    2. Add (Click the "Add" button)


      - "Product category": taken from Inventory module (Inventory/Settings/Commodity Group).
      - "Barcode": Auto generate with 11 number.
      - "Unit of measure": taken from Inventory module (Inventory/Settings/Units).

      - If this product have variants, you can define it in variants tab. And when create this product it auto create variants product from here with attribute taken from parent product - Fill data into, after click "Save" button

    3. Edit

      - To edit on "Management screen" click edit.

    4. Delete
      - Click buton delete on "Management screen"

    II. Product variants.

    1. Management screen

      - This feature allows management of product variants, add edit, delete
      - On this screen only showing variants product ( variants product is product has parent). Therefore when you create product from this screen it showing on "Products menu". Because product create from here don't has "variants value" so it will be parent product.

    2. Add (Click the "Add" button)


      - Fill data into, after click "Save" button

    3. Edit

      - To edit on "Management screen" click edit.

    4. Delete
      - Click buton delete on "Management screen"

    IV. Work centers.

      - Work center: Declare a list of work centers where work orders made here
    1. Management screen

    2. Create new Work center


    3. Edit

      - To edit on "Management screen" click edit.

    4. Delete
      - Click buton delete on "Management screen"

    V. Routings.

      - Declare the production process of a product, this process will include the activities, the steps to be performed in the work center, how long is it to be, and the instruction file to be attached. to do this
    1. Management screen

    2. Add routing (Click "Add" button)

      - Enter data into form, after click "save" button

      - Routing detail: Routing infomation, list operation on this routing, order, work center name, duration of operation.

      - Add Operation for routing

    3. Edit routing

      - To edit on "Management screen" click edit.

    4. Delete routing
      - To edit on "Management screen" click delete.


    VI. Bills of materials.

    1. Management screen
      - A bill of materials (BoM) is a document that describes the component products, the quantity of each component, and the process required to manufacture a product, including a routing and individual steps. In Odoo, each product may have multiple BoMs associated with it, but a BoM can only be associated with a single product. A single BoM can, however, describe multiple variants of the same product.
    2. Add new Bills of materials (Click "Add" button)


      - If your BoM is for one variant only, then specify which one in the Product Variant field. If not, specify the variant it is consumed for on each component line. You can add several variants for each component.
      - Add routing to your BoM: Routing taken from Routings menu.
      - BoM type: Manufacture this product, Kit: A BoM of type kit is used to split the product into its components.
    3. Bills of material detail


      - Showing all component in this Bills of material
      - Add component for this BoM - Add component to this bill of materials. You can also specify which product variation use this component, otherwise it will apply to all
    4. Delete Bills of materials
      - To delete on "Management screen" click delete.

    VII. Manufacturing order.

    1. Management screen
      - Manage Manufacturing order: Production order management: In this screen you create production orders for a certain product. When creating a production order it will generate a list of work orders. And need work orders done to be manufacturing this product .
      - In Miscellaneous tab: declare "Components warehouse" , "Finished Products warehouse".
    2. Create new Manufacturing order (Click "Add" button)
      - Select Bills of material , planned date, Deadline, production quantity

      - Components tab: the Components is taken from the bills of materials you choose and the routing is also taken from here, from routing of material it generate list work orders for manufacturing order.
      - To comsume: the quantity to produce this product.
      - Reserved: the quantity availability.
      - comsumed: the quantity comsumed.

    3. View Manufacturing order (Click "view" button on manage screen)
      - when manufacturing order create it status "draft".


      - when click "Mark as todo" button, manufacturing order change status will change to "Comfirmed". At the same time will check the inventory of raw materials, if not enough will require creating purchase requests for these materials. Once the "Purchase Order" has been created, it needs to be approved and a "purchase order" is created from this purchase request. Once the order is created, it needs to be approved. after needing to create "goods receipt voucher" from "purchase order". And now we have enough raw materials to continue production

      - Manufacturing order after create purchase request
      - Manufacturing order after check availability of component
      - Manufacturing order planned
      - when manufacturing orders status planned, You need to complete the work orders. After all work orders completed, you can change manufacturing order to done.
      - When mark Manufacturing order done: inventory quantity will be increase.
      - Click work orders button to view list work orders of manufacturing order.
      - View work orders by gantt chart.
    4. Delete Manufacturing order
      - To delete on "Management screen" click delete.

    VIII. Work orders.

    1. Management screen
      - Showing list work orders
    2. View work orders detail (Click "view" button)


      - When the "start work" button is clicked, the time for this work orders begins to count, the work instruction tab shows the instructions for executing the work orders taken from the routing. Time tracking tab displays the time log for the work orders.
      - Click the Next button to view the next work orders.
      - when all work orders finished, go back manufacturing order to be mark as done manufacturing order
